In the fall of 2020, the Government of Canada extended the expiry dates of all first aid certifications for frontline workers due to the pandemic. It just didn’t make sense to attend a class. Certificates were extended for up to 6 months or until December 31, 2020, whichever came first.
Now, the 6-month government extension has expired.

The Red Cross Standard First Aid course is comprehensive training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need them for work or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies. Our blended course includes online (8 hours) and in-class (7 hours) learning. We can bring the in-class training to your workplace or welcome your team to our classroom in Milton.
The Red Cross Emergency First Aid course offers basic training in life-saving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. The Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS/HCP) course is designed to give in-facility care providers (nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals) and pre-hospital care providers (fire services, rescue teams, chiropractors, sports-medicine, lifeguards, and ski patrol) the confidence to perform CPR skills in a team environment when on duty. Our course includes 4 hours of in-class learning. We can bring the training to your workplace or welcome your team to our classroom in Milton.
