Service Description

3 days, after school 2:30 to 5pm day 1 & 2, May 7th and 8th, 2 hrs for day 3 May 9th. $110.00 + HST = $124.30 A basic Canadian Red Cross course offering life-saving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Course content: • About The Red Cross organization • Preparing to respond • The EMS system • Check, Call, Care • Airway emergencies • Breathing and Circulation emergencies • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest • Wound care Course take-a-ways: • First Aid & CPR (print or eBook) • 3-Year Emergency First Aid certificate (digital certificate issued after successful completion) Successful completion means: • Ability to successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps • 100% attendance and participation • 75% minimum passing grade on a written, closed-book knowledge evaluation • Adherence to the Fundamental Principles

Cancellation Policy

We offer both virtual and in-class training. For our virtual classes, we do not offer refunds since course materials are delivered directly to students well in advance of the course date. We would, however, be happy to do a one-time transfer to another class, if requested, at no additional charge to you. For our in-class training, you must email us at least 30 days before the start date of a course to receive a refund of course fees. We will refund your course fee less a $20 administrative fee. If you contact us within 30 days of a course start date, we will be happy to do a one-time transfer to another course date at no additional charge to you. If you do transfer to another course date, you forfeit the right to cancel your registration and receive a refund. There are no refunds or transfers to another course for no-shows.
