Standard First Aid, CPR & AED (Level A or C)
(8 hours online + 7.5 hours in class OR 2 days in class)

A comprehensive Canadian Red Cross course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

• Breathing and Circulation emergencies

• First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest

• Wound care

• Head and spine injuries

• Bone, muscle and joint injuries

• Poisons (includes opioid poisoning)

Emergency First Aid, CPR & AED (Level A or C)

(4 hours online + 4.5 hours in class OR 7.5 hours in class)

A basic Canadian Red Cross course offering life-saving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

CPR/AED (Level C)

(3 hours online + 3 hours in class OR 6 hours in class)

A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course to provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and includes the latest CPR guidelines and training to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Psychological First Aid

(90 minutes online + 7 hours in class OR 12 hours in class)

​

A psychological first aid certification course to gain a deeper understanding of the Red Cross Look, Listen, Link, Live model for greater awareness that there is a problem, listening to yourself or others, and linking to resources in your community so you can live fully. You'll also learn the principle of Do No Harm, which refers to the unintentional harm that may be caused to those who are meant to benefit from your intervention. The course uses case-based learning and includes the latest evidence from the international community.
